Note: American Express must be enabled ("Card Accepted" checked) in the Authorization Setup before the following steps are taken
IMPORTANT: when troubleshooting your merchant setup please call your processors' PC Support or Advanced Product Support. They are the only ones who can help you directly. Your bank or customer service will not be able to have proper access to your account and will cause delays
1. Select ‘Settlement Configuration’ from the ‘Configuration’
menu.
2. Highlight ‘AmericanExpress’ and click ‘Edit’
3. Change the ‘Settle With’ field from ‘Default’ to ‘AmericanExpress’
4. Select ‘AMEX’ as the Net Type
5. Fill in the fields as follows:
Merchant ID: SE Number (10)
Terminal ID: Process Control ID (6) (Service ID)
Network ID: AMEX Dialup Name
Industry ID: AMEX Host IP
Company ID: AMEX Port Number
Store ID: Profile ID (10)
1. In Dialup Networking, add a new Entry named ‘AMEXFTP’
2. Setup user name and password as given by AMEX.
